Abstract The surface of nano silica (NS) was modified by [3- (2-Aminoethyl) aminopropyl] trimethoxy silane (KH-792) to increase activity. Evaluate the efficiency grafting into NS characterized Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry (FTIR) and Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA). (m-NS) were dispersed epoxy resin Epon 1001X75 mechanical stirring ultrasonic vibration. Epoxy cured with Epikure 3125 (Epi3125). structural morphology dynamic properties materials Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Transmission (TEM), Dynamic Mechanical (DMA). results showed that content 20 wt% KH-792 for highest denaturation efficiency. With adding 1 (NS-1), polymer film 1001X75/Epi3125/NS-1 increased impact strength from 20kG.cm 52.5 kG.cm (increased 162.5%). Adding 2 m-NS (m-NS-2) improved 1001X75/Epi3125/m-NS-2 55 175%). glass transition temperature (Tg) composites 1001X75/Epi3125, 1001X75/Epi3125/NS-1, gradually 48 °C, 75 79 °C. obtained 1001X75/Epi3125.
